So far this year has been wonderful for our riders!

We took a last minute trip to Poplar Place Farm for their Jan 3rd schooling show.  Catie Moffett needed to squeeze in a run on our amazing Emma and this was our chance to do it.  She had a beautiful dressage test, clean SJ round and gorgeous XC round.  It was a great day and a perfect start to the year.

On Jan 19th we loaded the trailer and took Kaitlin Connelly and her horse Noah, Catie Moffett with Emma, and Stephanie took Charis to a clinic in Athens, GA with Dom and Jimmie Schramm.  We all had really great rides!  Dom and Jimmie are so fun to ride with.  If you get the opportunity, take advantage!!!  Noah had his dancing shoes on and looked great for his dressage lesson.  Catie had a great jump school with Emma.  Stephanie and Charis did dressage with Jimmie.  So proud of how much Miss Charis has grown up!  I think Jimmie has a mare crush on her. 😉

Feb 6-7th brought our first big group outing for the year.  We borrowed an extra rig and took 7 horses and riders to Chattahoochee Hills.  On Friday we xc schooled and enjoyed dinner as a group.  Saturday was show day and MAN AM I A PROUD TRAINER!!!!!

ALL of our riders, parents, owners, and coaches finished the day with HUGE smiles and boosted confidence.  There is nothing better than taking riders out and having them come home feeling like they are ready to move up and are loving what they are doing!

We are currently getting ready for a big March.  Our horse trial riders are going to compete at the USEA Horse Trial at Pine Top Farm in Thompson, GA.  We have another group of riders gearing up for our first h/j show of the year at H&G Horse Quarters in Auburn on the same weekend.

We’ve welcomed SO many new students to our roster this month!  I’m so thankful for all of the ways that God has blessed our barn family and I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of our new riders.  2015 is going to be our year!  😀
